I've decided not to burn my UA miles. I will use my miles for hotels instead. This summer, we had around 400,000 miles. We used 62,500 miles each for EWR to FRA to VCE/CDG to EWR and to HNL in January 2014. We used, on the average about 14,000 miles per night at hotels in Venice, London, and Paris.
