I'll echo the caution to take much of what you see on the miles-and-points blogs with a grain of salt, though. Not all of them are accurate, and most have something to sell you, directly or indirectly.
Also are you a newbie who is looking for (1) an explanation of how the frequent-flyer game works; (2) advice on credit-card or other miles-maximizing earn/burn strategies; (3) advice on airline(s) and programs to use?? From questions posted on FT over the years, there are differing levels of "newbies" and that really drives what resources are best.
The Information Desk area here on FT is a pretty good place to start for questions specific to your situation and for reading up on much of the basics. And the particular airline and alliance forums mostly have a wealth of info on each program. Though certain blogs will spoon-feed you, it's pretty easy to learn all you need here on FT - that's how I got started anyway.
Most of my personal favorite blogs are more for someone who already has the basic concepts down pat. Though FrequentMiler is probably good even for a beginner to the manufactured-spending realm.
Actually a good resource (not really a blog per se) for finding current credit-card and other offers is freefrequentflyermiles.com The site is not glitzy looking by any means, but it does the job and its owner, pgary, is a good contributor here on FT.
