I am unable to purchase the egift cards with my Platinum Amex.
At first the website claimed my billing address was outside the US. Finally I just manually re-entered it as a new address and got this message:
"We're sorry. Payment authorization has failed. You will need to select a new form of payment"
Perhaps they have blocked out all Amex Platinum cards for these purchases?
