I am sure you know this, but from your reservation go to the redeem upgrade tab, and click on the buy up to first option to check it out.

It may just be cheap enough right now for you to buy it.

(The only way I am aware to go from Y to F is with a glitch that used to be in the .bomb system. If you were in Y (W), and applied a GPU that got waitlisted, you would receive a buy up offer to GF at that point. I am not sure if that glitch is still around. It helped us get to Australia in Global F a couple of years ago though!)

There is no option to buy up to GF under "redeem upgrade". Only buy-up to BF is allowed, apparently, and they're still asking over $2200, or $500 + 30k miles. Still too expensive for me to jump.
