I was very unimpressed after considering upgrading a flight with Avios or cash. Both options said I needed to phone my local BA office. After having the pleasure of talking to a BA staff member in iIndia who couldn't answer any question without putting me on hold and referring to his supervisor I was sent back to Newcastle. Nearly 1 hour later I achieved some progress. The issue of not being able to update my booking online though is something they can't report internally as an issue.
BA then said there IT systems were at fault and at some point would be improved. My call concluded with me stating how would things improve if they don't report issues such as mine. There was silence.
I am unimpressed and BA obviously don't want to improve.
That would be that other known glitch usually referred to as the Indian call centre!
