Can anyone report on their experience using the Wheely app in Moscow (e.g. rather than using taxis)? I have never used it but am thinking it might be useful when I go to Moscow for the Russian Orthodox Christmas 2014.

I was in Moscow for Christmas 2013 but had a guide with me at every point. This time I will be staying in the Marriott Courtyard not far from Red Square but will not have as many friends serve as guides as 2013.
