Just sifted through all the prior DEL transit threads. Also looked at the MCT listings in KVS (which shows a 180 minutes, 9W-CX D-->I). Still have a couple of questions.

Same day, leaving JAI for DEL, then DEL to HKG on CX in J. The latter (CX 698) departs 22:20.

Conservatively assuming (a) I will be checking a bag, (b) domestic carrier will not interline to CX, and (c) I cannot miss my HKG flight, is it too risky to book a flight with scheduled arrival of 19:50 (2.5 hr connection)? Is the answer different if I'm not checking a bag? My alternative is an earlier flight with scheduled arrival of 17:20 (5:10 connection). I'd really enjoy a couple extra hours at the Rambagh ;-)
