January of 2012 AA was offerring 3X EQM's for residents of specific states flying RT beweeen LAX and DFW or ORD and I can confirm there was a lot of MRing happening in January that year. I remember one Saturday standing at a gate at ORD waiting for return flight with 20 some others who flew in on the same inbound flight.I think all were FT'ers.
