Not being the frequent flyer that many are on here, I don't amass huge amounts of Avios.

I am STILL able to use those miles on RFS and do so at least twice a year.

Apart from one measly one way via AA (EU), Avios are the only FF benefit I have ever been able to use....(12500 AA miles one way.....9000 Avios return on the same route).

To me what makes BA special is the people that work for the company, the Cabin Crew are (nearly) always very friendly and professional ...well anyone can have an off day.
Call centre folk have always tried to help me if I have a problem and never, ever just read from the website (unlike some other airlines).
Ground staff also have that level of courtesy and efficiency.

This means at the moment, despite not having any status BA is a great deal for me.
