I bought a couple of tickets for my mum + step dad to come out here leaving GLA on the 23rd (afternoon when the worst of the wind is expected), and on to cayman on the 24th. The flight to lhr is cash BA.com booking, lhr-gcm is an AA.com redemption on the BA flight. I made the bookings so can change them - going by i'm seeing 80mph gusts for the west of scotland on the 23rd and it is two bookings, should i rebook them to london on the 22nd instead just to be certain? If they miss the flight to (edit, sorry) LHR because of the weather, is the gcm leg lost?
