A) I am willing to accept that you (and your credit card company) got hosed here. Not sure what the solution is, but aside from that, it should NEVER take 30 minutes to get off the lot. That's worth a customer service complaint in and of itself.

B) Unfortunately, every single thing you described could happen at ANY other car rental agency.
