I used this is france earlier this month and now in Mexico. Again, I am incredible surprised and pleased with how well it works. The data connection test show .10 to.12 but works much better than edge. Again emails work perfectly as do text apps, news apps loaded fine, most apps worked well, and browsing although slow worked, and was usable when needed. Maps worked well also, slight lag but worked well. Yes, we are spoiled and have much faster data here but for the basic task we need out and about traveling this is phenomenal and I see no need to buy a high speed data pack. Seems to me anything needing that can be done via wifi at hotel or any other hotspot.
Again, this makes it so easy and really makes your phone global. I made a few calls while in Paris and did get billed the 20 cents but it is an incredible value when you do need to make a call and don't have wifi for the VoIP apps. Thanks John Legere
