Did your upgrade cear ahead of time or at the gate? In the former case, clearly you would have a confirmed meal.

If both your upgrade and the LMU were confirmed at the gate, who knows. I still would hope they give priority to eupgrades over LMUs.

LMUs are not paid J by any means.
