Was just curiuos, if after going through the entire upgrade list and empty first class seats still remain, would DL upgrade Silvers on an Award Tickets even though they aren't technically supposed to be upgraded?
I was made silver earlier this year and shortly after made quite a few trips.
Mostly TPA>DTW or MSP SEA DCA >TPA and was never better than 30 out of 40
on average on an upgrade list.
In the last month , I made gold and got bumped up to about 20 out of 40 from flights mostly TPA>BOS DCA ATL >TPA on the upgrade list.
You are all still fighting for max 2 FC seats..........
Things are not hopeful.
I would stick it out in GM for EC seats, you won't get much as an elite unless
you fly out of a non hub vs Hubs ATL MSP DTW
