I do however think that this continues on BA's push for better AC utilization. Very recently, BA have started routes from LHR on the weekends to traditional LGW Beach fleet destinations for better AC utilization. Perhaps now they are expanding this logic to AC based at outstations as well. But I have no doubt as well that this is a test case before they expand the concept of AC utilization at outstations. But very interesting indeed.
