It's the same as any other airline - you pay the difference in airfare (class or ticket type is irrelevant) at the time of change, just like you would on AS, except on AS you pay that
PLUS $125. SDC policies are the exception, of course. Cancellations are a true winner where I just pocket the funds in WN's version of my wallet with no fees. AS = a $125 hit. For business travelers that make changes frequently and aren't MVPG, it's a big deal (and those changes, for me, are never 60+ days out, so the new rules don't really change the game).
