I can echo the positive experience with Air Astana. Their long haul business class features angled flat seat, the short haul a dedicated 2+2 seating. In 20+ flights I have not experienced any significant delay. The experience at Astana and especially Almaty airport is, however, sub par - but this applies to any airline operating from these airports.

Just be careful about earning on M&M. You can only earn bonus miles and this only on the Astana-Frankfurt and Almaty-London flights. If you fly Air Astana regularly, I'd consider joining their Nomad program, which is pretty good and also does status matches.
