Check periodically. T-Mo keeps upgrading their network. I used to have spotty 3G connection in some parts of my home. 6 months ago, I started getting HSPA+, and now I have LTE with a decent signal strength. Plus, having WiFi calling means I do not really have to rely on the towers to be connected.
Agree... May parents live in Prescott, AZ which was 2G only ; it's now 3G/4G HSPA + LTE but NOT listed on their coverage maps as such (soft launch)
Also if you find LTE coverage medicore; switch your device to 3G only ; T-Mobile 3G is MUCH faster than Verizon fallback to 3G and is more stable than AT&T 3G from bandwidth in most markets. Meaning use LTE as you need but 3G/4G HSPA is pretty good in most markets while LTE continues to fill in
