I don't think any OW airlines fly into Astana. From Europe your choices are really on Lufthansa, Austrian via Vienna, Turkish via IST or one of the gulf airlines.

I've flown Air Astana between Almaty and Astana before and they are absolutely fine, in fact it is fair to say they were on par with most European short haul airlines.
