What are you looking for to make your stay as great as possible, and where will you be staying?
Don't think being Diamond will make an earth shattering difference. You will get a free breakfast, access to the lounge when available and maybe a room that's a bit better than what you would normally get. No use of suite upgrades on point bookings, but if there is availability you could have used points to book a suite regardless of status....
