It's quite a relief that I don't now have to buy 3V cards at Seacroft - last week they were getting really tough on the 5 card rule per day which one of the checkout supervisors is rigorously enforcing with great enthusiasm. She produced the memo from head office which does say 5 per transaction but goes on to say that 15 cards
can't be split into 3 transactions (the memo mentions both fraud and possible failed activations).
Given the area the store are convinced it is relating to fraud and when handing over cards for purchase I've had cashiers (of all levels of experience) immediately put on their light and call for a supervisors as 'there is something about these cards they need to find out if they can sell them' - on purchase of 1 set of four cards security have even approached me telling me I could not buy any further cards the same day; I'm clearly on the watch list!
PS Bramley was always a good shout for stock and I think Roundhay may still have turkey magazines (they had plenty last Friday).
