There have been a couple of times when I've said to the cashier that rather than taking 10 magazines just for the vouchers, can she just scan the voucher 10 times. It doesn't normally work, but a couple of times it has. As the voucher is for £20
or more spent on a gift card I've only used 1 for each 3V card.

. Tonight I just happened to pass a perfect storm of a store - loads of 3V cards and loads of magazines. Did the cards in batches of 4 and they all went through first time. Just spent 2 hours registering them and pre-paying my electricity bill, so off to bed now!
