Hi everyone,
I booked a mini-RTW in J with HKG-PEK-IAH-BOS in January.
Yesterday, aeroplan (or AC?) called to inform me that the the CA PEK-IAH on that day was cancelled. For some reason, she just booked PEK-IAH on CA 2-3 days later but not the HKG-PEK and IAH-BOS legs. This situation is not ideal.
What I'm wondering now is:
do I have to look at award space again for a new way home?
or do I just go on AC (or other *A carrier) and look at revenue fares?
will they charge me fees, if, say, the new itinerary has fuel surcharges?
