That said, being constantly in hotels, a positive experience is one where nothing goes wrong (as opposed to something that stands out).
The rooms were standard Aloft, the staff was great throughout the stay, the restaurant (Beatrix) is one of the best hotel restaurants I've encountered and was busy throughout our stay.
You hear sirens, yes, but being from a city, this doesn't bother me and did not prevent me from sleeping. I couldn't hear people in the next room, but heard when they moved the blinds around or when housekeeping entered their room.
Good location, no issues with housekeeping, clean rooms. If you like an Aloft, you will like this property.
Only two issues I can think of: shower pressure could have been better (but not bad) and I wish the sink faucet was not the sprinkley type.
I didn't try the restaurant, but when I was there is was full any time I walked passed.
I guess the highlighted is the key. Aloft's have a special brand following. I love W's but despise Aloft properties.
