Ok, thanks. I have a PRC visa so no problem there. I understand the Hilton Shekou has only been open for a while so I wasn't expecting a huge response. It looks interesting from the website info, and I do like the Chinese Hilton's approach generally. A one night stay in the Beijing airport Hilton recently was an example of how hotels should be, and should be run and my intentions are to try out more of these. The Conrad Macau looks ok if you want glitz and gambling but the Shekou looks understated (as are the rack rates) but seems to have the core amenities I want; big pool, fitness room, exec lounge, etc. And it is reasonably proximal to HKIA.
