on a very short 1.5 hour flight experienced the new service on a full Y load on a 777... the crew all seemed 'new' - i can't define what this feeling is... they were all generally eastern European - polite and efficient. Sometime before takeoff an obviously very busy FA came by with a printout in one hand and a stack of Fast track passes in the other, and that was the Gold greeting - i don't have a problem with that.

The service was ok... appreciated that the drinks were on the same cart, however it was me looking from four rows down and wishing that no one else asked for the remaining bottle of white wine! Just one crew and she was running out of the most common soft drinks and after saying to a few people she doesn't have their choice, she was having to run back and forth from the galley... i don't think i have a problem with the tray size. I don't take tea or coffee, but yes, it wasn't well 'advertised' that they are serving then while taking the trays.

I like the new controllers and the screens - except for the douche sitting behind me and punching the seat to change his channels!!! that's not new though...
