That does not look smaller at all. If anything, the main meal portion looks ever so slightly larger. The placement of everything is a bit unusual, especially with the light bites tray.

What people should realize is that this is a challenge for all major carriers, and it's very easy to criticize. An enhancement/improvement is usually seen in F/J. But with Y, it's really difficult for people to see this. We should give it a bit of time to see how it works out, especially since crew have to get adjusted to this.

Even though Y on Emirates has been criticized recently, I can tell you it's much better than Y on any US legacy carrier. The worst meal service I've had in Y on EK is better than the best meal service I've had in Y on Delta/American/United.
