xxx-SIN generally can be found without a min stay, allowing say-day turnarounds. For SIN, that means a 6.5 hour layover in the middle of the night (about 12:30am-7am or so). You can rent a room at the Transit Hotel for about $50, worth it for the shower alone, and also a convenient place for a 2 hour or so nap. The airport, even in the middle of the night, is an amazing place.

If you're a passport stamp collector, keep in mind that Singapore has very strict rules regarding when you can "exit" the airport and come back in. I can't recall if it was two hours or three... whichever it was, when I tried, I was over the time cut by one minute and they wouldn't let me, even though there was NOBODY but me in the entire area. All I would have had to do is exit through customs, turn around and enter back through security & pp control, all of which are in the same area, all of which were manned, none of which had a single passenger to attend to. Did not matter.

If it's still available, try and book this through SEA and you'll have a lot of empty seats in E+. There's a thread about that flight being discontinued to it may not be available by the time you fly.
