Ha, that was exactly my thought. That was one major weakness of av, having to transfer points in 10k chunks. But it's not spending another 5k, but rather another $3,334 if on drugs/grocery/gas.

But then I found out those who have the Aventura, can also get the cibc aerogold card, and "transfer" or shutdown Aventura, and transfer the av points to the aerogold card -- which then transfers to aeropeso.
