A few days late to this, but CX now have a
press release about US joining oneworld on their site.
Since I'm expecting to do a bit more domestic travel in the U.S. next year, particularly on the East Coast, this is well-timed for me.
I was happy until I realized they won't join until March 31st? What's the wait? Aren't they one company with AA already? Anyway, where I live if I can book US Airways it would open up a lot more options for me.
