HGP is a personal membership and only one entity receives credit. You can tell who receives credit by the HGP membership number entered on the folio upon checkout.. Even if someone else pays for it or if an entirely different name is on the folio. The HGP number on the folio at checkout is the key.
Not sure what you mean by personal membership.
Each time, I have received a folio with my name, check in and out dates and has only the incidental charges listed. I receive points for the incidentals, but not for the cost of the room. I expect it to work like that. The HGP T&C's says that, but I can find no mention of stay credit, which I do not receive.
It seems to work unlike every other major hotel chain out there, where the butt in the bed gets the stay credit.
