Used to prefer LGW over LHR but think its the other way now, With T5 its very quick to get to/from, whereas LGW now seems a chore of an M25 trip and worse coming home at morning rush hour. The LGW drop off is another case of why cant I just get one lift or escalator to the place I and every one else is going, at least in the T5 lounge complex I only have hand luggage for the mid level circle.

The big gripe with LGW other than a few unreliable aircraft seems to be our last few flights from TPA seem to have landed somewhere close to Gatwick requiring us to walk the last couple of miles through a maze and a bridge over the runway and yet the bag trucks seem to go an even longer route.

Fast track at LGW is ok if it is quiet, but its not the premium feel once you get past the entrance and its a nightmare if there are more than a few people as there is no room to collect and re-pack you bags plus all the people who's stuff is still in the scanner stand and block your exit.
