Listed online but can't be booked
I am looking at a trip to Lima Peru. The Air Canada web site lists a flight in business class to Lima via Bogota at a good (but not outrageous)price. I could match the price flying United.
The flight cannot be booked at the advertised price. On line I get an error code after I enter credit card details. By phone (with an almost 2 hour wait on hold), the flight exist only for 50% more money. Tried both twice.
24 hours later, the original price is still listed on line (and can't be booked)
I usually book on line and have never hit this. I complained, with attached screen shots, to "customer relations" but have no illusions that it will do me any good. Anything else I can do to get the advertised price?
Guess I will spend the $7500 (3 tickets) and book United.
