In the UK we have some really first-class inexpensive supermarket bottled punch. We use quite a lot of it over December and January particularly when coming in from a cold walk. It is all nicely spiced, and I simply gently warm it in a saucepan .... mustn't boil away the alcohol, and then just add a shot at the end ie making it into an Amerreto punch or rum or brandy punch. Sometimes we also add tinned strawberries making it into an erdbeeren punch. We also keep some sweet chestnuts in the fridge and 12 to 13 minutes in the airfryer gives us with the punch the true Christmas Market experience without the flights.
