aeroplan.com is a joke

The most rediculous one I just found was YYC-MCO. Aeroplan.com is a joke. It shows departure and return dates where there is availability. Kids got excited when they saw it on the first page, only to be disappointed when we selected those dates.

Departure was YYC-YEG-YWG on Zip. YWG-YYZ five days later in D, the on to MCO in w one day later.

Now here comnes th clincher. Return was MCO-YYZ 36 hours prior to arrival in D, 3 days in YYZ. On to YWG a day later. Depart day later for YEG, then 2 days in YEG.

Eleven days of flying in a 10 day period.

The relaity of such silliness is that in the new AC, this type of award travel will be all too common, with Jazz picking up the majority of domestic flying. It will be easy to AC to make the claim of 10% inventory allocated to awards. They won't even need to allocate J inventory on the few routes where it exists.
