If you believe you are entitled to a refund on services, it is a contract issue with your contractor, not a credit card chargeback/dispute issue with AMEX.
Read through your agreement with the contractor, and see if you have any remedies available to you. How you paid for the services is largely irrelevant.
That is what I was looking to clarify. I did sign a contract for a service and I dont believe I received it. That is why I was looking to see if I had any protection from Amex....but thanks for clarifying.
