Also, in an emergency she would have had to scramble to put on her lace up shoes.
Was this on the MD-88? I have sat in an exit row by the rear exit door on the MD-88 and the FA jump seat was very close to my seat but facing the opposite direction so we were facing each other. You should have offered her a foot massage. She might have comped you a drink.
