This is the short way, assuming they defaulted to the flight (a gate function where all transactions assume that flight, that date, from that city.) One doesn't need to default to the flight, they can edit that string to include the flight number if they aren't the gate CSR.
Thanks I'll keep this in mind for the originating airport. I spoke to another 1k line CSR who said I'm on the manifest for the segment in question with my expected seat assignment despite not showing on the standard "checked in" list. Does this make sense or more blowing smoke potentially going on? I'll still show up armed with documents at the airport but perhaps a breath of slight relief?
