I contacted the Hotel last week after confirming would indeed make it into Milano. Received a prompt and courteous reply consistently up until leaving SFO. My flight in from MIA was very early so concerned about room being ready let alone upgrade. Had checked inventory from night before and they had rooms for sell so something to check into was possible.

Upon arrival into MXP cleared immigration within two minutes and took train into Centrale then taxi to PH. Warm reception then the real service started. Greeted by no less than three staff members waiting 15 minutes for housekeeping to confirm my upgraded room was ready. The upgrade is very nice. So much more space than any room received at the PH Paris. Holiday time in Europe is always special. Walking around this evening the mood was festive. If you have a chance stop by cioccolatItaliani to left of McDonalds. What a show for 3 euros. Chocolate filled cone bottom. Regards from Milano.
