Just kidding - but as a regular coach flyer, I did not have that impression. And while I would not look at them as stupid they are easily insulted and turn indignant when confronted with facts.
They also reliably prove to be argue their case outside of the Singa "they ask you to do this" and "it is required that..". I accept this now but the first few times, I drove me nuts and triggered a reasonable amount of spite and disrespect on my behalf.
