Many thanks everyone for your advice - certainly sounds like it's possible!

KenJohn , Me and my friend are both twenty so we shan't be doing Disneyland but thanks for the tip - didn't even know there was one out there! Thanks fort he heads up!

Is there anything specific I will have to say at CTU to make sure my bags are checked all the way through? Like; "Please check my bags though with a code or something?". And is there anyway to check once in HKG they have understood my request...? I don't want to get back to London and find out my bag is still in HKG going around one of the belts from the CTU-HKG flight :/

Our plan is to be back on the Airport Express by 21:30 so we get to enjoy the lounge. I saw your pictures Peter01 of the wing in HKG, very informative and I will definitely aim to spend an hour in there before the flight! This ties in well with your plan corporate-wage-slave so thank you for your tips, both of you.

And finally williemaykit, aka Paul aha, two things. How pricey is the BLT? Should HKG$500 cover a decent meal for two - we're not wanting to bring more than HKG$1000 each!

And lastly, HKG immigration, do you know how many pages we will each need free in our passport? After leaving China I will only have the one left... and my friend two - they don't put those dreaded full page stamps in do they, one for entry and one for exit? We're both UK citizens if that makes a difference!

Many thanks again everyone for your help!

Merry xmas,
