Last week I saw two F seats on LAX-SYD, something like 7/20 or 7/21. Should've grabbed them for my parents but didn't have travel dates at the time.

But that's clearly the exception, as others have said QF F class redemptions are extremely hard to find, and J isn't a whole lot better. Being able to search on the website is certainly more convenient than calling in was, however.
