I haven't been on Amtrak in years and will be traveling from NYC to DC early next week. I already have my e-ticket printed.

The Amtrak website says to show up 45 minutes before, but I was planning to be there about 20 minutes before. Is that cutting it to close? Do you just walk on the train or is there something else you need to do at the station?
