I haven't done extensive searching but the availability seems to be very limited since QF has a very nice F product and is partners with lots of people resulting in snapping up of the flights. I looked at LAX-SYD a couple weeks ago and saw only < 10 days with F availability on AS' site.
Looking now I see about a dozen days with availability (though I realized I'm only looking for 1 seat)

No personal experience. One note: KE does fly F there, you just can't use AS miles to get it.
