Another data point about DL overbooking their tpac J. Not quite a trend yet, but there've been a spike in posts here lately about the J cabin being oversold and pax getting bumped.
Definitely not good for global upgrade usage prospects, especially combined with the removal of J seats from the 777s.
On my NRT-JFK last week, the purser told me that they other NRT-US flights were overbooked in J and they were being rerouted onto my flight.
