I got an email that my flight on Wednesday is going to have automatic check-in (if you opt in). I'm bronze so I have selected a normal WT seat already, but I was planning to get into OLCI right at T-24hrs to try to get an exit row. I'm just wondering now whether this auto check in will have already allocated the exit rows to random people and if I'm better off signing up for auto check in and hoping I'm one of those random people.

Does anyone know what auto check in does re: exit rows?
