FYI, I rented a SRX back in December '12. I don't remember what year the vehicle was (either 2012 or 2013 model). I do remember that it did NOT have the HID headlights. This model was equipped with standard halogen lights. They are some of the worst lights I have ever dealt with. They barely showed me the way. Yes, I made sure they were on, and the daytime running lights (DRLs) were not engaged. Be aware when renting this vehicle with standard halogens lights. Even my 8 year old Subaru has better lighting than this car.
