However, when I arrived at SYD baggage claim, they informed me that my checked baggage was accidentally off-loaded at BNE and was already on its way on the nonstop BNE-ADL.
The problem was that at check-in, SIN check-in applied the INT->DOM transfer tag. BNE baggage saw it and thought that it was meant to come off at BNE, not SYD.
So I guess the next time I am on QF52-QF8-Dom, I would get them short-check to SYD without that INT->DOM transfer tag, and get SYD DOM transfer desk to re-tag it.
Anyway, my checked bag arrived 30 mins after I arrived at ADL.
So I would suggest that anyone with QF52-QF8-Dom connection should just short-check to SYD.
For me, i purchase different tickets. The SIN-BNE-SYD-BNE-SIN is on one, then the domestic connection to CBR is bought separately, each purchased as one ways, with a 1:30 hour connection time between INT and DOM. Thus the bags will only get tagged to SYD, the onward ones to CBR being tagged at SYD transfer desk.

See you soon on the flight!! Now I just got to worry about how I can reach my status soon I think Silver is good enough for me since all I really need is the baggage allowance, lounge wise ... well :/ hahaha let's hope for the best ;D
Congrats on the op-up again! Silver is almost like the added *G baggage allowance on SQ so that's nice. Since you're rebooked in I, you should get the JCL SC for SIN-SYD, that's 120 SC for you. Given you have stepped off an international JCL flight, you are eligible to use the domestic JCL at SYD DOM T3 for your onward connection.
