Also, I think you meant that you took I-287 North to NYS to I-287 East to I-95 North. 87 South leaves 287 East right after the Tappan Zee. There is no 487.

I'm sure you have the correct numbers. It all seemed to go so fast (well other than the 80 and 95 portion). Siri didn't fail to tell me where to go

And yes, before I left home in AZ last week, gas was $2.97/gal
