I have the “I just can’t win” feeling. I leave DL because of ridiculous fare requirements for upgrades and very poor low award availability. I have been building MP miles and now UA jacks up *A mileage requirements. In addition the JV forces me on ANA to BKK with some of the worst coach seats (except 787). Guess I should have stuck DL especially with the new global upgrade certs. Oh well. Maybe it’s time to stop chasing the rapidly deteriorating benefits of US based airline FF programs.
